An engineer by training, Ralph joined Old Mutual (South Africa) in 2001 after obtaining a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town. Within Old Mutual’s Individual Life business, he managed the transformation programme that formed the base of developing new era investment solutions before his promotion to Managing Director of Old Mutual Unit Trusts in 2004.
Ralph became the group’s Strategy Director in 2006 and more recently led the development of several new businesses within OMSA as Director of New Ventures. In November 2008, Ralph was appointed as the Managing Director - Retail to drive the growth of Old Mutual in the affluent segment which includes the distribution of its solutions through the tied adviser force, broker networks, independent and bank brokers.
Ralph currently serves as the Old Mutual (South Africa) representative on the marketing and distribution committee of ASISA. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Business (UCT). |

Dr Frene Ginwala non-executive director |

| Dr Ginwala was elected to South Africa’s democratic Parliament in 1994 and 1999 and left Parliament in 2004 having served as Speaker for the first decade of democracy. During this time she also assisted in the establishment of the Pan African Parliament. Dr Ginwala has a legal qualification together with a doctorate in philosophy from Oxford. Her previous work experience includes her being a barrister at law, a historian and a political scientist. Dr Ginwala also spent 30 years in exile working for the ANC in a number of capacities, including the Head of Research. She has also served on many international organisations including the International Commission for Human Security. Dr Ginwala also previously served on the ANC National Executive. In retirement, she has resumed her work on issues relating to democracy, governance, human rights and development. She continues to serve on the advisory council of the Nelson Mandela Foundation, is a trustee of The Freedom Park Trust and is a first Chancellor of the University of Kwazulu-Natal. |

| Andrew Bradley is the CEO of acsis, an independent asset consulting and financial planning company. Andrew has been at the forefront of a number of significant developments in the financial planning and investment arena over the past 20 years. During this period he also served in various leadership capacities on the boards of the Association of Collective Investments (ACI), the South African Savings Institute (SASI), the Financial Planning Institute (FPI), the international Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) Council, the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) and the South African Rugby Players Association (SARPA). Andrew has co-authored three books, writes a number of columns for various publications, hosted a weekly radio show for eight years and regularly is interviewed on radio and television in the fields of financial planning and investments. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Natal and is a Certified Financial Planner. |

| Jürgen is one of acsis' longest-standing employees and management member. Jürgen is responsible for the operational departments within acsis. The Business Technology Solutions (BTS), client service, HR, finance and project office teams report to him. Jürgen has a strong practical engineering background and spent a number of years as Senior Business Analyst at one of South Africa's leading retail chains. He subsequently set up a consultancy business specialising in systems, efficiencies and technology for the financial services industry. |

Andrew joined acsis in April 2008 as an investment strategist. He has extensive investment experience and has an in-depth understanding of the fund management and broader investment industry. This has seen him manage a research process, research and analyse local and international companies and fund managers, as well as manage pension funds and various unit trusts.
Prior to joining acsis, he was one of the founding directors of Coronation Fund Managers and the previous head of STANLIB International. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Economics and BCom (Hons) degree. |

Seelan Gobalsamy non-executive director |

| Seelan holds a BComm and Post Graduate degree from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and obtained his Higher Diploma in Tax through UNISA. He began his career at Prosperity Insurance Company Ltd as General Manager of Finance, and was later appointed as CEO in 2000. He joined Old Mutual’s Employee Benefits division in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer, and in 2004 accepted the role of General Manager Administration. During the course of 2005, Seelan was asked to manage the entire Old Mutual Employee Benefits business. Seelan was then appointed as the Executive General Manager of Corporate Distribution. His appointment as Managing Director of Old Mutual Corporate from November 2008 has expanded the above role to include responsibility for the strategy, finance and HR functions for the entire Corporate business. Over the years, Seelan has held various key leadership positions, including Directorships, that of Principal Officer and served as a Trustee. |

| As acting executive head of business development, Chris assumes responsibility for the financial planning business development, business marketing, business management, institutional business development and institutional asset consulting teams at acsis. Chris also takes responsibility for exploiting the synergy between acsis and Old Mutual for our benefit. Chris held various positions in the Old Mutual group over a period of eleven years, ranging from Retail Property Development Engineer to Chief Financial Officer of OMIGSA. Chris is a CFA charter holder, member of the ACCA and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch and a MBA (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch Business School. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors, Compliance Institute and Engineering Council of South Africa. |

| Gerhardt is the executive head of advice and development. In this role, he assumes responsibility for the legal, coaching, advice development and governance teams at acsis. Gerhardt is a member of various industry bodies and committees and is currently the Chairperson of the Financial Planning Institute (FPI). He previously held the position of National President of the Pension Lawyers Association and Chairperson of the FPI’s Tax Committee. Gerhardt has a BCom LLB from Stellenbosch University, is a Certified Financial Planner, an Advocate of the High Court and also a Certified Compliance Professional with the Compliance Institute of South Africa. |

Bennie Gouws chief financial officer |

| Bennie is the chief financial officer and a member on the executive commitee. He has been with acsis since its inception in 1999. His responsibilities include the preparation of management accounting information, annual financial statements and budgets, taxation, and overseeing the accuracy of fund pricing and client reporting. Bennie is a Chartered Accountant. With strong technical skills, he focuses on finance, systems and administration. Bennie completed his BCom (Hons) at Stellenbosch University and obtained the Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification. He is also a Certified Financial Planner. Bennie sits on a number of industry technical committees, most notably the Association of Collective Investments' Tax Committee. |
